The Media Moment - Show #030

Normalcy (or some seblance thereof) returns to this week's show, as we talk with Jeff Stoltzfus and Jon Carlson from Club Worship. Jeff and Jon have helped to pioneer the DJ-led worship movement, which is worship through dance in a club-like environment. Together, our conversation explores the "why's" and "how's" of this cutting-edge trend in ministry. To find out more, check out their website and podcast at: www.clubworship.org.

The Media Moment - Show #029

On this week's first-ever international version of The Media Moment, we do a post-mortem on the Pasadena Tabernacle Songsters' Tour of the United Kingdom, discussing the do's and don't's of hosting a visiting group at your venue. Rest assured, we've got nothing bad to say about any of the Salvation Army halls that hosted us -- just a few of the rented venues that gave us some trouble. Thanks to everyone who made the trip possible! We'll be back with more normal fare next week -- at least as normal as we get.

The Media Moment - Show #028

The second of our podcasts recorded semi-live from The Media Moment tour bus (aka the Pasadena Tab Songster tour bus) as it is tooling through the lovely English countryside, this week we discuss things you need to know if you're planning on adapting multimedia from the States to the UK way of doing things. We cover several areas, including PAL vs. NTSC, 110 vs. 220, and the quickest way to fry your hair straigtener.

The Media Moment - Show #027

The Media Moment goes international this week, as we podcast semi-live from the tour bus of the Pasadena Tabernacle Songsters, who are on a two-week tour of England and Scotland. Listen in as we describe our roles in the concerts, how we set up each night, and the different kinds of multimedia we're using to support this music ministry. And, as an added bonus, Kevin Cook takes over the show temporarily with the overwhelming smell of his beef jerky. (Special thanks to the Bowmer family, for putting us up for a night, and going to great lengths to get us internet access to get this uploaded!)
