The Media Moment - Show #026

On this week's Media Moment, Richard and Josh discuss the different types of cabling you can use to send a video signal from one place to another, which are, namely, composite, S-Video and component. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages, and we discuss the why's, how's and we-don't-know's of them all.

The Media Moment - Show #025

DO NOT BE ALARMED!! The Media Moment bumper music has been enhanced this week by our special guest, Kevin Cook, a.k.a. MonkeyPunk. A lifelong musician of varying sorts, Kevin has recently completed a remix of the last Pasadena Tabernacle Songsters recording, "New Day", and compiled it into a new dance/techno CD entitled "re:new". Listen as we discuss how he accomplished this single-handedly, why we think this is great for ministry, and do a little accoustic remixing ourselves. Links include:

The Media Moment - Show #024

With apologies for the poor audio quality this week (we were trying something new, as you will hear), this week we discuss the pros and cons of upgrading to an HD system. Been wondering if it's time to make the jump? Listen in and find out what we think.

The Media Moment - Show #023

On The Media Moment this week, we cross some things off our to-do list, as we catch up on a miscellaneous array of tidbits we've been meaning to talk about and just haven't yet. Things like Richard's spiffy new piece of audio recording hardware (which we put to use to record this episode), how much work we both have to do for the Songster tour, and a nifty new application that will, as Richard put it, "coolify" your tired old PowerPoint presentations.
