The Media Moment - Show #012

On this week's Media Moment, we're joined--again--by Sarah Lamkin, a youth worker at a Salvation Army church in Tustin, CA. Sarah is in the process of planning for a summer day camp at her church for Jr. and Sr. Highers that will include multimedia training. She talks to us about difficulties she's faced so far, how she's overcome them, and what lies ahead as she prepares for what we feel is an important program for the youth of her church. (Also, a little behind-the-scenes here at The Media Moment, as we uncover the mystery behind a "technical glitch" that happened two weeks ago.)

The Media Moment - Show #011

This week we're joined by Steve Bussey, a self-described "media anthropologist", about why media is so important to today's generation, and how the church needs to constantly seek new ways to communicate the message of Christ with them using new media. Together we discuss what the role of media should be in Christianity, and that of Christians in media creation. Of particular interest (in my humble opinion) is the role video games can play in teaching life lessons to kids. Links include:
